Biography 1995

The “Carnevale Marino” exhibition is proposed again, with about thirty works, at the “Galleria Il Leudo” in Genoa. In April-May, Gribaudo’s works inaugurate the exhibition “Books and Prints” held at the Stubbs Gallery in New York: gouaches and water colours, single piece works on paper and in an artist’s book, with unpublished texts by Antonio Tabucchi. Within the framework of the 100th anniversary of the Venice Biennial, he takes part in the “Internazionale di scultura Progetto Scultura” exhibition, organised by Pierre Higonnet and held at both the “Galleria del Leone” and the “Giardini Casanova” at the Giudecca in Venice. Here, he exhibits two works in bronze: “La danza”, produced in 1975 and “Dinosauro”, produced in 1984. In summer, an anthology is dedicated to Gribaudo’s works in the halls of the “Grand Hotel Miramare” in Santa Margherita Ligure. Dinosaurs and prehistoric animals are then exhibited from July through to October at the “Musée National d’Histoire Naturelle Val Rahmeh”, in Menton. He takes part in the joint exhibition “Ritratto e Autoritratto” held at “Palazzo Lomellini di Carmagnola” in Carmagnola (Turin) and the “Ante ad Arte” exhibition in Turin. The new Municipal Library “A. Arduini” is inaugurated in Moncalieri with the “118 Artisti in Biblioteca” exhibition. Gribaudo takes part with two works, the sculpture Diplodoco and a logogrifo, which he will subsequently donate to the Library.
