Biography 1983

He has a personal exhibition at the “Galleria Dei Bibliofili” in Milan (the catalogue is introduced by Pietro Fornasetti). He exhibits lime-tree wood and paper ligogrifi, taking part, for the second time, in the “FIAC” exhibition set up at the “Grand Palais” in Paris, organised by the “Galleria Toninelli”, also taking part in the joint exhibition “Bianco, semaforo dell’Arte”, held in Foggia, at the “Palazzetto dell’Arte” and organised by Giorgio di Genova. He travels to Tunisia and Morocco, as usual producing a travel diary.

Biography 1984

Further to the exhibition held at the Lawrence Ross Gallery in Beverly Hills (the catalogue is introduced by Plinius), he takes part in the Christchurch Festival Exhibition, held at the Robert McDougall Art Gallery in Christchurch, New Zealand. On this occasion of a journey to the antipodes, New Zealand and Australia, Gribaudo produces small sketches exclusively using local colours and pigments, in the attempt to bring back the feeling and atmosphere of the Australian landscape, setting great store by the experience gained in China. Biography 1985

The year’s personal exhibitions are practically all dedicated to the “cinesi” works. Twenty-two canvasses of this subject, the “Cina 1982-83” series, including some logogrifi on paper, are exhibited at the “Davico” Gallery in Turin. The catalogue has texts by Filippo Scroppo and Nico Orengo. At the same time, lead and antimony sculptures, including some graphics dedicated to China, are exhibited at the “Galleria Fornasetti” in Turin. Biography 1986

An extensive anthology, with over two hundred works produced between 1963 and 1986, is held at the “Centro Incontri Avigdor, Piemonte Artistico e Culturale” in Turin. The following year, this exhibition will be transferred to the “Civico Museo Revoltella Palazzo Costanzi” in Trieste. Biography 1988
