Biography 1981

Logogrifi created for the first time using a natural non-treated material, lime-tree wood, are exhibited at the E. Nakhamkin Gallery in New York (the catalogue is introduced by Graham Sutherland and Jean Dubuffet). These are formed by many-layered high reliefs carved in the raw wood. Another personal exhibition is held at the “Galleria del Salotto” in Como. He travels to Indonesia where he produces a copious series of “notes”, sketched and drawn in pastels, presented the following year at the personal exhibition “Diario di un viaggio in Indonesia”, held at both “Palazzo Treville” and the “Galleria Acquario” in Casale Monferrato. He creates a work in bronze for the “Piscina Comunale” in Valenza.
