For its first participation in Miart, Sans titre (2016) proposes a duo presentation by American artist Alicia Adamerovich (b. 1989) and Italian artist Ezio Gribaudo (b. 1929), a seminal figure of modernism who hasn’t shown work in an art fair in years. Gribaudo will present a selection of paintings and works on paper representative of his iconic series of the 1960s and 1970s: Cuba, Logogrifos and Arizona. Alicia Adamerovich’s installation consists of paintings and wall pieces, but also sculptures in the form of furniture, such as tables and chairs. Visitors are invited to sit and rest in the booth, which offers a break from the ecstatic fair atmosphere. The installation also acts as a reading room, showcasing a selection of Gribaudo’s most important publications.

 

Concomitantly to its participation in the fair, Sans titre (2016) is pleased to present « Outro », Robert Brambora’s first solo exhibition in Italy. The show brings together a selection of works presented in the artist’s monograph published with Motto Books that will be launched during the opening, as well as a new series of paintings on wood.
